Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to use yompei.com, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or reduced motion. This page says what we aim for, what we've done, and how to tell us when something doesn't work.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, which is the standard generally referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 508.
What we've done
- Text and interface colors meet at least the 4.5:1 contrast ratio for body text and 3:1 for large text and controls.
- Every form field has a label; error and success messages are announced to assistive technology.
- The whole site can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a "Skip to content" link.
- Decorative graphics and animations are hidden from screen readers; meaningful icons have text alternatives.
- Information shown by color (for example calendar highlights) is also conveyed in text.
- All motion, including the animated background and scrolling ticker, is disabled when your system's "reduce motion" setting is on.
- Pages use proper headings and landmarks and are readable at 200% zoom and on small screens without horizontal scrolling.
Known limitations
- On narrow screens the top navigation shortcuts are hidden; every destination remains reachable by scrolling and via the footer links.
- The illustrative "correlation" and calendar panels are decorative demonstrations; their content is summarized in the surrounding text.
